WYSEF Board Member

Bob has been a board member since spring of 2020. Given how much he enjoys the trails, he wanted to contribute to the community and trail system. The Rendezvous trail system is an ideal facility to keep people physically active during the winter months and WYSEF is an integral partner, helping to create opportunities for the skiing community and promote the general enjoyment of the skiing. He got into Nordic skiing in his mid 20’s. After competing in summer biathlon for several years, he wanted to try winter biathlon, so he bought a pair of skate skis and, within the first winter, became hooked on Nordic skiing. Bob discovered the Rendezvous Trails in the late ’90’s, and began spending more time in West Yellowstone each winter, annually competing in the Rendezvous race. Since 2017, he has lived in West Yellowstone part time and spends almost every day skiing the trails In his spare time, he is usually skiing, hunting, or fishing, often with his dogs and his wife.
