WYSEF Board Member
Vice President
Kelli has been a member of the board since 1997. She wanted to be a part of something that would have an impact and make life better for others, and felt that WYSEF was in a position to that. Important to Kelli was that cross country skiing being accessible to everyone, and particularly children. Out of that came the development of the low-cost after school ski program (grades 2-6). In her mind, the value of the Rendezvous Ski Trails is that they are accessible to any level of skier and inexpensive. One of Kelli’s earlier experiences with cross country skiing includes skiing in Island Park, at what was known as Lucky Dog Retreat. The ski included skiing in the morning out to a warming cabin, where skiers were served a hot bowl of soup, and then skiing back. The winter activity followed by warming soup, made her want to do it again. Kelli enjoys doing anything outside, her favorites being tennis and biking; regardless of what she is doing, if she gets to be active outside, she is happy.
